Grape : Nero D’Avola 100% Alcohol : 15% Colour : Deep ruby red colour. ⟡ Taste : Its strength and complexity immediately stand out at the nose. Blackberry and cherry notes balanced with vanilla scent. Soon there are tobacco aromas, and towards the end balsamic notes, and elegant vegetal notes. Fruity taste, intense, elegant tannins and freshness. Very long at the palate. ⟡ Pairings : Match with tasty red meat and medium and long aged cheeses.

In the 1990s, after four generations in viticulture, the Morgante family began vinifying their own grapes in Sicily’s Agrigento province, near Grotte. Moving away from bulk wine, they focused on quality and growth, transforming the estate under Antonio Morgante’s leadership. Today, the family-run winery is recognized as one of Sicily’s top red wine producers, known especially for showcasing the potential of native grapes like Nero d’Avola.
